All our livestock is individually picked out and bought (live) locally at York Auction Market to protect and maintain quality, improve sustainability, and safeguard the environment. We use the whole carcass, butcher in house and waste as little as possible to pay full respect to the animal.
Keep a close eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages for weekly suppliers. Provenance is paramount.
With cuts from nose to tail, if we don’t already have it in the window, we will endeavour to source and provide it for you.
Otherwise, we only trade with small local suppliers and producers; fresh eggs, rapeseed oil, butter, milk, flour, condiments, curry sauces, and a must buy is a jar of our homemade chilli jam.
